This is Mengku Tea Factory’s Lao Shu ripe tea cake. Produced in 2006 and comes in an upsized 400g cake, this tea had been stored in Singapore for about 10 years.
I would recommend that you break up this cake into tea caddy and let the tea undergo a xin cha (awaken) period for about 2 weeks. This tea is very aromatic with strong sweet herbal feel in the tea. This tea is mellow and sweet. Good for a dozen infusions.
