This is the hard to find 2007 Jing Mei Tang “Xi” pu erh tea cake. “Xi” means imperial seal in Chinese. This 250g tea cake is composed of old wild pu erh tree material. The mild intoxication effect of this tea caught me off guard(maybe I had sampled the tea in the late afternoon and my stomach was running empty), and I felt a ‘happy high’ for almost an hour. This tea is very strong but easy to drink. This tea had been stored in hot and humid Malaysia for about 10 years. The storage is very clean and the tea, when brewed, exhibits good age and vividness in both taste and aroma. I would recommend that you brew this tea after a meal and make a little time to savour every drop and enjoy the smooth strong chi with every infusion.
One 250g tea cake with every unit order.
