This pu erh tea cake is produced by 6 Famous Mountains Tea Industry. This tea factory is an old and highly regarded by many tea drinkers and Chinese tea collectors. This tea factory was also given a factory code number ‘6’.
This Bangwei tea cake is produced in 2009 and had been stored in Singapore for 10 years. Pu erh tea harvested from Bangwei region are appreciated by pu erh tea drinkers for its strength and chi in the tea. This tea brews strong. I personally enjoy bangwei for its effects of ‘sweatiness’ and slight intoxication that last a couple of minutes after a tea session of this pu erh. There is a very light hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. I recommend you eat something before you buckle up to your tea chair when you start on this tea.
This tea has been stored in Singapore for more than 7 years. The hot and humid weather of Singapore has mature this cake well and the aroma and taste of this tea will seem to suggest that it is much older than a 2009 cake. One cake (357g) per unit order.
