This pu erh tea cake is produced by 6 Famous Mountains Tea Industry. This tea factory is an old and highly regarded by many tea drinkers and Chinese tea collectors. This tea factory was also given a factory code number ‘6’.
This Bangwei tea cake is produced in 2009 and had been stored in Singapore for more than 8 years. Pu erh tea harvested from Bangwei region are appreciated by pu erh tea drinkers for its strength and chi in the tea. This tea brews strong. I personally enjoy bangwei for its effects of ‘sweatiness’ and slight intoxication that last a couple of minutes after a tea session of this pu erh. There is a very light hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. I recommend you eat something before you buckle up to your tea chair when you start on this tea.
This tea has been stored in Singapore for more than 7 years. The hot and humid weather of Singapore has mature this cake well and the aroma and taste of this tea will seem to suggest that it is much older than a 2009 cake. One cake (357g) per unit order.
