This raw pu erh tea cake is specially commisioned to celebrate 10 years of South East Asia Pu erh Association in 2014. This stone pressed iron cake is moderately compressed which allows the cake to age faster than a machine pressed iron cake. I was told that the formulation of this cake was made to cater to specfic taste preferences of the pu erh drinkers in Malaysia. The tea is harvested from the Lincang region of Yunnan. Slightly smokey complemented with an interesting floral and herbal and hay aroma within the tea.
