This oolong is from Singapore’s Pek Sin Choon tea shop. This tea shop was established in 1925 and today still pack their oolong by hand-wrapping the tea in small paper packets .
‘Sin Choon Chwee Sian’ is the Chinese Hokkien dialect for spring Shui Hsien. This is the only oolong range of Peh Sin Choon, where the tea leaves are not rolled. All other oolongs in the company’s hand wrapped packet range are rolled oolong.
This is a very popular tea and many Chinese here pair this tea when they eat “Bak Kut Teh’ which is a local herbal pork soup. This tea is very aromatic and smooth and is one of the best sellers of Peh Sin Choon. Each packet is hand wrapped in Singapore and contains about 10g of Shui Hsien.
6 packets of tea with every unit order.
