This oolong is known or called ‘Red Scholar Tea’ and is known as Zhuan Yuen Hong in Chinese. The many villages in oolong producing Fujian province sometimes give their oolong a name. This tea is quite popular among the Chinese oolong tea drinkers. The aroma has a dried floral scent with light fruity sweetness. This high fired tea is now about 3-4 years old.
This oolong is packed and sold by Koh Kian Huat tea company (a Singapore based shop), each hand wrapped packet comprised of 12 g of tea.
