This is the 2015 Baishaxi Black tea. This tea was originally produced in a 2 kg brick version. This tea was grown in Anhua China and Baishaxi tea factory was one of the earliest and most famous tea factory there producing black tea. This Great Wall version was specially produced for the Beijing tea markets. This 2015 version was the very first production. Later versions of this tea came only in 1kg bricks.
This tea was aged in Malaysia. this tea at 10 years old is smooth, mellow and smooth. I personally found that boiling 3g of tea with a coffee mug amount of water yielded the best results in terms of aroma and taste. Put the tea to a small simmer for 2 minutes and let the tea further infuse for a minute after you had turn off the heat. Pour out the tea and the tea is ready to drink. Addictive.
When you order this tea, please allow the tea to rest for 2 weeks before brewing the tea. This allow the tea to acclimatise in your country after a long trip.
One unit order is 80g of tea.
